Yes. You can transcribe up to 30 minutes a day, edit your captions and download SRT, VTT or TXT files for free with no watermark. Exporting a video with burned-in captions is free at 720p with a small watermark; paid plans unlock 1080p, 4K and no watermark.
Is my video uploaded to your servers?+
No. Your video is processed entirely in your browser. Only a compressed audio track is sent for transcription, and it isn't stored afterwards. On paid plans your captions (never your video) are saved to your account so you can reopen projects on any device.
How accurate are the captions?+
Very accurate for clear speech. Every word is editable, so you can get names and slang exactly right before you export.
Which file types can I upload?+
MP4, MOV, WEBM and MKV videos, plus audio files like MP3, WAV and M4A. Free accounts can upload videos up to 10 minutes long.
Do I need an account?+
